'Gallery of the Red Keep'

The Red Keep is where power keeps its art. The gallery there does not display quiet things — it displays the things that earned their place by being impossible to look away from. Red celosia in its velvet pleating, dense and absolute. Coral alongside it, the color of something still deciding how hot it wants to be. Gold dust over both, the way the light in great galleries falls at an angle that makes everything look like it was always meant to be seen.

The large ornate oval holds all of this with appropriate ceremony — a frame that understands it is housing something that does not need to be helped but might benefit from being contained. This pendant is the gallery in miniature: the walls red, the objects incandescent, the gold catching the light from a direction that changes depending on where you stand.

For the one whose inner life is already a gallery of things on fire.
