'Artemisia on Navy'

Artemisia is silver-green and ancient — the plant of memory, of purification, of the goddess whose name it carries. Against navy that is almost black, those silver leaves become something lunar. The tiny hydrangea florets are stars, scattered without plan.

This is a night garden. This is what the garden looks like at the hour when everything becomes more itself.
