'Every Garden at Once'

This piece took days. Not because any single element was difficult, but because all of them were happening simultaneously. Celosia plumes rising. Blue botanicals deciding where to settle. White flowers holding their position against everything that wanted to crowd them out. Green matter threading through the whole composition with its own agenda. Every species with a strong opinion about where it belonged.

The depth is real — built not in one pour but in sessions: add, shape, sand back, remove what isn’t working, coax the air out of every angle and gap and tiny space between petals before it becomes permanent. Resin traps air. Air ruins composition. The finished surface you see is the result of that work made invisible — the erasure of every mistake, every trapped bubble, every element that needed to be repositioned before the next layer arrived.

What you see when it is finished looks inevitable. It was not inevitable. It was earned, over days, with patience that is indistinguishable from stubbornness.
