'The Floret'

Not every piece needs to make an argument. Some pieces simply hold a thing — the way a locket holds a face, the way a reliquary holds a relic, the way a closed hand holds what it doesn’t want to put down yet.

The Floret is a small brass circle filled with tiny hydrangea florets in clear resin. That is all. The florets are perfect and the circle contains them and the chain is simple, and the whole thing belongs at the throat of someone who already knows what she wants.

This pendant is for the woman who doesn’t need more than one perfect thing.
