'The Hemlock Window I'

Hemlock is the borderland plant. It grows where the garden ends and the wild begins — where the path gets overgrown, where human intention stops and the field takes over. It is poisonous and beautiful in equal measure, which means it has always known something the garden prefers to forget.

A circle of glass with hemlock pressed inside it: the lacy umbel, the fern-like leaf, the stem that looks harmless and isn’t. The five Hemlock Windows are each slightly different — a different specimen, a different moment of pressing. This is the first. Worn alone, it is a complete argument.

This pendant is for the woman who has always known where the garden ends.
