'The Hemlock Window III'

Hemlock marks the edge of things — the place where the cultivated gives way to the unmanaged, where the instructions stop. It is the plant that taught the ancient world about limits, and it has been teaching ever since.

The third circle in the series: hemlock in a brass window, pressed in the moment the specimen was most itself. Of the five Hemlock Windows, each holds a slightly different field observation. This one is the middle of the series — the fulcrum.

This pendant is for the woman who knows that the most interesting things grow at the edge.

Hemlock · pressed botanicals · clear resin · brass circle · rolo chain
