'Butterflies in Florence'

Late summer, when the hydrangea florets blow in the breeze, due to the four-cornered petals, when the wind takes then and they whirl upwards, they look like a cloud of small white butterflies. Dancing and soaring with the wind. Butterflies dream and so do the florets. While they dance on the wind, they dream of attending a bright Florentine ball, lit only with the ambiance of candlelight. To borrow the form of the butterflies they mimic, they don a sheath of gold with dollops of shattered rose petals on their arms to be mistaken as wings. Off to the ball they went. It was a marvelous time. The walls of the party were all wrapped in Florentine marble paper, a party gift to the hosted, from the Universe herself. How very generous. The party to remind each and every one of us who we are to ourselves and each other. They made you a pendant to show you their adventures....this pendant is essentially a polaroid party pic as a guest favor. They will always remember it. They want you to keep it alive.
