'Ever Blooming'

At the western edge of the ancient Greek world — beyond the sunset, beyond the ocean, at the place where the sky meets the sea — stood the Garden of the Hesperides. In it grew a tree bearing golden apples that granted immortality. The garden was tended by the Hesperides, daughters of Evening, who sang to the tree. It was also guarded by Ladon, a serpent who never slept.

Hercules' eleventh labor was to steal the apples. He did it by asking Atlas to get them for him while he held up the sky. What he brought back was not fruit but proof: that such a garden exists, that it is guarded precisely because it is real, and that the thing which never stops blooming is not impossible. It is just very well protected.

This is for the woman who refuses to stop blooming, regardless of what season the world says it is.
