'Sunset Roses'

The Rosicrucians — the Brotherhood of the Rosy Cross — emerged from three anonymous pamphlets published in Germany between 1614 and 1617. They claimed to represent a secret society in possession of ancient Hermetic knowledge, offering it to anyone ready to receive it. They signed nothing. They named no members. They left only the symbol: a cross covered in roses.

The rose had always been the emblem of hidden truth. Sub rosa — “under the rose” — meant spoken in confidence, a tradition the Romans borrowed from the Egyptians who borrowed it from somewhere older still. A rose hung over a meeting table meant: nothing said here will leave this room. The rose as seal of the unspoken. The rose as permission to tell the truth.

The rose also carries the highest measurable vibrational frequency of any flower. This has been tested. It is not mysticism. The flower that means hidden truth is also the flower with the highest vibration. This combination is not accidental.
