'The Queen's Jewel'

This is a Spring piece. Her spirit found wandering weaving in and out of the dappled willows last spring. They were dying. All of them. The humans didn't know it yet until this spring when not a single one returned. Did she know? Didn't she know? These coral tips are the last budding of the elegant ladies that have graced these bluffs every spring. turning warm pink salmon at the tips for just a few weeks and then transitioning to pale pistachio green for the rest of the season. This was their last spring, and the spirit of this piece anchored them in memory and longing forever. They now live in the liminal space this piece holds.
