'Young Love'

Plutarch wrote in the second century that Eros — love — was not a human emotion but a cosmological force. Without Eros, he argued, atoms would not combine, stars would not form, cells would not divide. Love was the force that held creation together at every scale. Not metaphor. Physics, as they understood it.

The Gnostics agreed from a different direction: they called the same force Sophia, or Agape, depending on the school. The Sufi tradition calls it the essential nature of the divine — God being love, not merely loving. The Kybalion encodes it differently but arrives at the same destination: the All is Mind, and Mind's fundamental quality is the impulse toward connection.

Young love is not naive because it is young. It is true. It has simply not yet been argued out of itself.
